
Thomas Perin, elected chairman of the board
On Friday September 27, the ESB Board of Directors elected Thomas Perin, head of Bois Expo Distribution, as its new Chairman, for a three-year term.
An entrepreneurial career and local commitment

A graduate of IPAG Business School (1994), Thomas Perin moved to Nantes in 1999. He joined the IDEA logistics group as a development manager, before co-founding Bois Expo Distribution in 2004.
The company, which today employs 100 people at 14 sites in western France, specializes in the distribution of wood and wood products for parks and gardens, for both private individuals and landscape contractors.
In addition to his entrepreneurial responsibilities, Thomas Perin has also held positions of responsibility within Medef Loire-Atlantique, the Nantes CCI, and the Pays de la Loire CCI finance commission.
A board committed to the future of ESB
Thomas Perin has been a member of the ESB Board of Directors for six years, first as a representative of the CCI and then as an independent director, and has forged strong links with the school and the wood industry. His commitment to ESB is reflected in his participation in various boards of directors, student welcome days and diploma juries. He expresses his deep attachment to ESB, which he sees as a real place of life and learning for the wood industry: ” As President, my priority will be to strengthen the ESB’s influence both regionally and nationally. I also want to revitalize relations with companies in the industry and make CSR part of the school’s DNA.”
