The research directions entitled “Comfort of the built environment” and “Circular economy” help establish close, long-term relationships with partner companies and promote the development of innovations with high added value.

Limiting the greying of wood, improving its fire resistance, utilising the antimicrobial properties of materials, strengthening structural qualities, creating new materials, recycling and reusing products: these are just some examples of research topics facilitating the use of wood and the creation of new activities.

Boasting a fully dedicated team of engineers and doctorate holders, Bois HD offers services to companies in the following areas: consulting, engineering, characterisation trials and tests, COFRAC-certified trials, and digital modelling.
